Carolyn M Ferguson

She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Florida 1965. After graduating from Northwestern Senior High School in 1982, she studied management, earning a business management degree from Burger King University in 1984. In high school, she received a scholarship for creative writing at Ohio State University. She obtained an esthetician’s license from Beauty School of America in 2002. Her passion for writing flourished, garnering Editor’s Choice Awards in 2002 and 2007 from the International Library of Poetry. Furthering her education, she earned an Associate’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education from Miami-Dade College in 2011, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University in 2014. Amid personal challenges, she obtained a pharmacy technician license in 2018, Where she has been working since 2012. Balancing work with roles as a widow, single mother of five, grandmother, godmother, mentor, and church leader, embodying strength, faith, and devotion to the community.
